Dr. Aguirre attended the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em!) where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology. He then moved to Dallas to attend Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, where he attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and met Dr. Goggins! During this time, his growing interest in more complex procedures led him to further his training in a prosthodontic residency. He obtained his Master of Science degree and Certificate in Prosthodontics from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, where he received advanced training in all aspects of advanced implant and restorative dentistry. He also is a former clinical assistant professor at Baylor College of Dentistry Department of Restorative Sciences.

The Aguirre family currently resides in Broomfield with their son, Jackson, and two Dachshunds, Bubby and Willie. Colorado has always held a special place in Dr. Aguirre’s heart; it was here that he proposed to his high school sweetheart, Amber. In his spare time, you can find Dr. Aguirre on the local mountain bike trails. He also claims to be a dental photographer — ask him about it!

John Gittins, DDS, FACP

Dr. John Gittins always had a love for science and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Weber State University. He attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2011. He was awarded a scholarship with the U.S Army and was one of four dentists accepted into the Army’s Prosthodontics Residency Training Program at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. After completing his residency in 2015, he served as the Chief of Prosthodontics and Dental Technology at Fort Riley, Kansas. There, he was instrumental in the care of soldiers and the mentorship of over 30 general dentists.

John was inducted as a Diplomat by the American Board of Prosthodontics following the completion of his board exams in 2015. This is the highest honor a specialist can be awarded. He is one of only 1,000 worldwide.

After his military commitment was complete, he began teaching prosthodontics at the Roseman University College of Dental Medicine while also maintaining a private practice. He is loved by both his patients and students and genuinely cares for each one of them.

John met his wife, Jessica, while attending Weber State University, and they married in 2002. They have four beautiful children: Harper, Holland, Haisley and Hatcher. John loves having fun with his family, exploring nature and eating good food. He has three life rules. First, whatever you do, do it with passion. Second, don’t take yourself too seriously. And third, take time with the people you love.
